Being away from home for the first time was a challenge for me.  Becoming independent of my parents and small town has helped me grow as a person.

What are your current career goals?

I would like to teach Literature and English in a high school setting.

How has the college experience influenced or changed your life?

Being away from home for the first time was a challenge for me.  Becoming independent of my parents and small town has helped me grow as a person.  A Jesuit education teaches students to be men and women for others.  By coming here, I have been shown how to care for those less fortunate.

What is your ultimate goal for the future?

I want to continue to grow as a person, student, and educator thanks to the things I have been taught at Wheeling Jesuit University.
