 Located in Vienna, West Virginia, Ohio Valley University is a residential, faith-based, liberal arts campus with a mission to transform the lives of students in a Christ-centered academic community. Consistently recognized as one of the nation's top comprehensive baccalaureate institutions in U.S. News & World Report's America's Best Colleges guide, the University offers a variety of baccalaureate and associate degree programs and endorsements.  At Ohio Valley University, every student is challenged to think critically, improve communication skills, and broaden his or her knowledge base. Those goals are driven by small class sizes and one-on-one relationships with faculty, staff, and other students. Ohio Valley University is not just a campus; it is a unique culture. Warm, friendly faces and a down-to-earth atmosphere are the basic ingredients of the College culture, which also features various activities and services that are designed to encourage the development of self-confidence, a positive self-image, and spiritual awareness. The intercollegiate athletic program is a member of the NCAA Division II and WVIAC, and offers men's baseball, basketball, cross country, golf and soccer, and women's basketball, cheerleading, cross country, soccer, softball, and volleyball.  Other unique activities and services include a dynamic international studies program, daily chapel, drama productions, singing ensembles, instrumental ensembles, intramurals, missions and
humanitarian efforts, internships, professional counseling, and career placement/ counseling.
